Imogen & Alanna Raise Hundreds for James Connolly Hospital
Earlier this year, Fifth Years Imogen McCallion and Alanna McLaughlin hosted a Bake Sale & Raffle in the Áras in aid of James Connolly Memorial Hospital Carndonagh. In May, they presented a cheque for €660 to the hospital. Huge credit goes to Imogen and Alanna for a fantastic, well-organised fundraiser.

'Blind Ambition' Sets Sights on Junk Kouture World Final
Transition Year pupils Aoife McDermott and Jessica McLaughlin have their eyes firmly set on the Junk Kouture World Final (destination TBA). Their dress ‘Blind Ambition’ was one of twelve chosen out of 69 in the Dublin City Final on Wednesday (13th May). To top it off, Miss Ireland Caoimhe Kenny showcased the dress at the Cannes Film Festival last night. All Ireland ChessZ Final, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary On Tuesday 12th May, 9 students from Carndonagh Community School made the long trip to Nenagh, Co. Tipperary for the All Ireland ChessZ Final. They had qualified to represent Donegal in a provincial competition which was held in CCS in January. CCS Girls Prominent in Gleneely Colts All-Ireland Campaign
On Saturday, 7th March, the U16 Gleneely Colts girls team recently reached the All-Ireland Semi-Final after a fantastic win against Home Farm, Dublin on Saturday. Seven members of the team are students at CCS - Olivia McCandless, Rebecca Gamble, Cara Lafferty, Aimee McLaughlin, Hannah McCandless, Emma Noone and Kaysey Borden.
