Junior Cycle Development Questionnaire (www.ncca.ie)
It's time to have your say. The questionnaire (see link below) contains questions and will take 15-20 minutes to complete. The questionnaire is divided into three sections.
- Part 1 requires basic information from the participant (you are not required to give any personal information)
- Part 2 asks questions on the purpose, nature and identity of junior cycle, and
- Part 3 asks questions about the pathways towards change ideas contained in the paper Innovation and Identity: Ideas for a new junior cycle.

CCS Mourns the Sad Loss of French Teacher John Doherty

The school is a very sombre place today as we reflect on the loss of our colleague, friend and French teacher John Doherty.
John lost his battle with illness on Sunday afternoon and will be buried on Tuesday 26th January in Cockhill cemetery after Requiem Mass at 11a.m. [download full letter from link(s) above]

First Year Admission 2010 - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
2009 Dates
1st December - Issue of First Year Enrolment Forms to Parents / Guardians of Sixth Class Pupils.
8th December - Completed enrolment forms to be returned to C.C.S.
2010 Dates
14th January - Open Night in the School.
Week beginning 18th January - C.C.S. Staff visit the Primary Schools.
3rd February - Incoming First Years come to C.C.S. for Induction and Assessment.
10th February - Issue of First Year Subject Choice Forms to Parents / Guardians of incoming pupils.
24th February - Completed Subject Choice Forms to be returned to C.C.S.
End of April - Issue of Subject Choice Confirmation and First Year Book List.
24th / 25th June - School Bookshop open for Incoming First Years.
