Massive congratulations to 6th year CCS student Brooke McBride on her recent success at the World Championships in Irish Dancing. A dedicated student of the Coyle School of Dancing, Brooke has managed the very challenging task of preparing for a world championship competition while also studying for her Leaving Cert exams. She has been dancing since shortly after she learned to walk and has followed in the footsteps of her Mum and her older sister to dancing success.
Brooke completed her Irish and Spanish Leaving Cert orals and in the same week headed off to Killarney to compete in the worlds. Her hard work and dedication (as well as 11pm dance practice in the shed!) really paid off when she came 1st in the third round and 5th in the overall competition. We are so proud of Brooke and her achievements and wish her continued success in the Ulster Championships in October this year.
