Over April and May CCS promoted an awareness of Autism culminating in a presentation given by local writer and past pupil Darragh D. Doherty to class 3E. Darragh entertained the 3rd years with an engaging workshop on creative writing. He has written his own book The Universalist which took three years to write. The presentation was an excellent example of how determination and work ethic can achieve results. Darragh also spoke about the importance of redrafting and proof reading. In the build-up to the Junior Cert exams, the advice was not lost on 3E.
