Carndonagh Community School was delighted to host the Donegal ChessZ Tournament on Tuesday, 20th January. The event brought together over 96 talented students from schools across Donegal, making it a fantastic day of competition. We congratulate all students who took part. Our students enjoyed tremendous success throughout the tournament, achieving the following outstanding results:
1st Overall – Champion’s Event

2nd Overall – Team Champion’s Event
⭐ Andrii Apapov, Ethan Doherty, Tiernan McDermott and Mykhajlo Zhybovkskyi
2nd Overall – Girls’ Team Event
⭐ Emily O'Boyle, Dearbhla McCallion, Chloe Harkin and Cara Phillips
