The wait is officially over...OUR PITCH TAR HAS DROPPED, 4 months later.
25/03/25 was an exciting day in the Physics Dept at CCS, when our pitch tar finally dropped, 118 days after the launch. And what is more exciting?.....We caught the moment on camera!!
CCS were only one of 30 schools in Ireland to take part in this challenge, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin.
A group of 5th Year Leaving Cert Physics students, along with their teacher Ms Joanne Doherty, visited TCD last week, deepening their understanding of the Pitch Tar experiment - one of the world’s longest running experiments!
