QUB Chemistry at Work / Physics Tour

Fifth & sixth year Chemistry students recently attended the Chemistry at Work Exhibition in Queen's University Belfast. They had talks on how Chemistry is integrated into the processes carried out at Agri foods & Biosciences Institute, CAFRE, NI Water, Almac and Spirit Aerospace.

Meanwhile, LC Physics pupils enjoyed a tour of the Physics Department at Queen’s. Students had the opportunity to view the new state-of-the-art teaching centre containing specialist laboratory equipment and computer facilities. They also attended various talks by research scientists which reflected the different areas of the Physics Curriculum at QUB.
