The Irish Department hosted a series of events this week to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge 2022. The programme kicked off with the visit of Sraith Pictiúr, a comedy duo offering a fun yet informative breakdown of the Leaving Cert Irish Oral. The Senior Choir delivered a unique take on 'Take My Hand' by Picture This, singing in both English and Irish (see video below). To wrap up the short week, the First Year Céilí took place in the school gym on Wednesday afternoon. Coordinating an Irish jig involving 180+ pupils is no small matter. Huge credit goes to the Irish Department for pulling it (and holding it) all together. Thanks also to the Music Department. Go raibh míle maith agaibh. Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh!
