Students Engage with European Democracy

Our senior Politics & Society students and transition year students took part in an online Euroscola event this week, connecting directly with the Vice-President of the European Parliament.
During the session, students learned about how the EU functions and discussed the importance of active citizenship. The Vice-President reminded them that “the future of Europe is not guaranteed — it is in the hands of our youth. They decide who sits in Parliament today and could sit there themselves in the future.”
It was an inspiring opportunity for our students to see how their voices matter in shaping the future of Europe.
