Swan Park Ecology Fieldwork Trip

On Tuesday, 23rd September, our 6th Year Biology students together with their teachers Ms. Curran and Ms. Hempenstall enjoyed a wonderful sunny day in Swan Park, Buncrana, as part of their Leaving Certificate Ecology fieldwork. The class explored the park’s rich habitats, observing and identifying a variety of local wildlife, flora and fauna. Students worked together to carry out ecological surveys and measurements, putting classroom learning into practice while appreciating the natural beauty on our doorstep. It was a fantastic opportunity to combine science with the outdoors, and the enthusiasm and teamwork of the group made the day both educational and fun. Well done to all!
