TY Politics Trip to Dublin

Our Transition Year students travelled to Dublin on Wednesday for a fun-filled Politics trip. They began the day with an interactive workshop at the Ombudsman for Children, where they explored children’s rights, the role of the Ombudsman, and key issues currently affecting young people their age.
We are very grateful to Dr Niall Muldoon for taking the time to meet with our students and to listen to their views and experiences first-hand.
The group then visited the Europa Experience, where they engaged with European democracy first-hand and learned how decisions made at EU level impact everyday life across Europe.
