The First Year boys were defeated 4-1 by St. Columba’s Stranorlar in the opening game of the season. CCS dominated possession but conceded three unfortunate goals, two of which came straight from corners. The Carn boys had a number of goalmouth scrambles and eventually scored in spectacular fashion, Billy Hume hitting the top corner from 30 yards after beating two men. There's certainly potential for better results as the season progresses.
