CCS Earns Official European Parliament Ambassador School Status

Carndonagh Community School is proud to announce that we are now an Official European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) following a year of dedicated work by our Transition Year and 5th Year students.

Throughout the year, students engaged in a wide range of meaningful activities, including Model EU Council debates, EU-focused learning programmes for TY and 5th Year Politics and Society classes, and the development of our EU Information Point within the school. These experiences helped deepen students’ understanding of European democracy, citizenship, and the role of EU institutions.

We were honoured to receive our official EPAS award last Friday at Europe House in Dublin, where our TY students delivered a presentation showcasing the work completed throughout the year to Members of the European Parliament.

This achievement reflects the commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work of our students and staff. Well done to everyone involved in reaching this important milestone.
