Leah McGonigle and Aoibhinn McDermott Take Their Positions for 'Evita' Musical
We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievement of TY student Leah McGonigle, who successfully auditioned for and secured a role in the Millennium Forum Youth Musical production of Evita this summer.
Leah dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the production, rehearsing tirelessly throughout June alongside the talented cast and creative team. Her hard work, commitment and enthusiasm truly paid off when she took to the stage at the Millennium Forum in July.
Leah performed with incredible energy and confidence, bringing her character to life and impressing audiences with her talent and stage presence. Her dedication throughout the rehearsal process was evident in her fantastic performance.
We are also delighted to celebrate the achievement of 6th Year student Aoibhinn McDermott, who was involved behind the scenes, working on the lighting for the production as part of her summer work with the Millennium Forum’s technical team. Aoibhinn gained valuable hands-on experience working as part of a professional technical team and played an important role in bringing the production to life on stage.
It is fantastic to see our students developing their skills and gaining experience across all areas of theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes.
We are incredibly proud of both Leah and Aoibhinn for their hard work, commitment and for representing our school community so brilliantly.
