Our six-week TYE Literacy Programme with Cloontagh NS has come to a close, and what a wonderful experience it has been! Our TY students teamed up with the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class for a fun, interactive programme, which included a weekly A–Z quiz and plenty of opportunities for learning, teamwork and laughter.

Over the six weeks, great connections and friendships were formed, making it a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to all the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class, their teacher, Máire, and Principal Grace McCarron for welcoming our TY students and making the programme such a success. A fantastic example of our TY students building connections with their local community! Thanks to all the boys and girls for their lovely cards. Much appreciated.
