3E Trip to Seamus Heaney Home Place, Bellaghy

Class 3E got a tour of the fabulous Seamus Heaney exhibition in Bellaghy on Wednesday 24th of May. The tour guide David was a wealth of information on Heaney and made the experience really entertaining. The students got to listen to audio visual material, looked at artefacts, tried on costumes and hats too, solved a few puzzles and did some arts and crafts while there. There was just enough time for a spot of lunch and a little shopping too. Thanks to Ms Joanne Doherty who accompanied Ms Lorna Simkins and her 3rd year English class.
