The U-16 Girls Gaelic team travelled to Buncrana GAA grounds on Wednesday, 20th October to play Scoil Mhuire in what was an excellent performance by both teams. Carndonagh played against the wind in the first half with some excellent scores from Rosie Holland, Caitlin Doherty and Séanann Mc Caul. At half-time, CCS were in the lead by 5 points. Both teams put in a great effort and fought hard until the final whistle. Some spectacular scores from Isobel Devlin and Maeve Doherty in the second half saw the girls in a comfortable position as the end of the second half approached. The girls will play Moville and Coláiste Ailigh in the coming weeks. - Manager: Ms Sweeney
