NW Academy TY Workshop
The NW Academy visited CCS recently, joining our TY students for three lively workshops: bodhrán, jiving, and table tennis. The school was full of rhythm, movement and plenty of friendly competition. Students threw themselves into each activity with great enthusiasm and really enjoyed the experience. A big thank you to the NW Academy for bringing such energy, fun and creativity to our day! TY Students Bring the Wellread Spirit to Work Experience
TYB have been spreading the love of reading far beyond the classroom as part of our participation in the Oide Wellread Award . Students were given a challenge to complete as part of our school’s aim to achieve The Wellread Award. During their recent work experience  TYB students invited their colleagues or employers to take part in a special Wellread initiative. Science Week 2025
Last week, CCS celebrated Science Week 2025. All First Year students travelled to the Millenium Forum to watch a science show hosted by Mark the Science Guy (gallery 1). Meanwhile, senior science students took part in the ISTA Donegal Branch Annual Quiz held in the Royal & Prior School, Raphoe (gallery 2).
