QUB Chemistry at Work / Physics Tour
Fifth & sixth year Chemistry students recently attended the Chemistry at Work Exhibition in Queen's University Belfast. They had talks on how Chemistry is integrated into the processes carried out at Agri foods & Biosciences Institute, CAFRE, NI Water, Almac and Spirit Aerospace. NW Academy TY Workshop
The NW Academy visited CCS recently, joining our TY students for three lively workshops: bodhrán, jiving, and table tennis. The school was full of rhythm, movement and plenty of friendly competition. Students threw themselves into each activity with great enthusiasm and really enjoyed the experience. A big thank you to the NW Academy for bringing such energy, fun and creativity to our day! TY Students Bring the Wellread Spirit to Work Experience
TYB have been spreading the love of reading far beyond the classroom as part of our participation in the Oide Wellread Award . Students were given a challenge to complete as part of our school’s aim to achieve The Wellread Award.
