The Shona Project
The Shona Project is a movement that helps girls in Ireland believe in themselves and each other. Mary from the Shona Project delivered two workshops to all the TY girls. 1. Kindness and Goal Setting 2. Confidence and Positive Mindset They discussed the following: The challenges young women face in Ireland today How we address these challenges The people who influence us Self-respect and respect for others Encouraging diversity and difference Setting and achieving goals

CCS Walking Group - Starts 9.30am Friday, 17th October
The CCS WALKING GROUP is back on the footpath starting 9.30am tomorrow (Fri, 17th Oct). This is a free, 'no commitment' gathering aimed at helping you exercise, socialise, or just wind down after a busy morning...The initiative, organised by our HSCL Co-ordinator, Yvonne Doherty (0868222169), is geared towards Parents/Guardians and Granparents. There's plenty of room for buggies too. So come along to the top gate of the school for 9.30am any/every Friday and let's get the win

U15 Boys Soccer - CCS 1 Moville 4
The Carn boys knew they were facing a challenge today against a serious Moville outfit. Having said that, suggestions of a heavy defeat were quickly hushed as CCS looked to have their lines well prepared. Despite going behind from a corner, the boys didn't flinch and equallised soon after thanks to a lovely finish from Jonah McNally (goalkeeper Ronnie Bonner with the assist!). Moville eventually scored the go-ahead goal following a tight offside decision that went against CCS
